Ullals de Baltassar
✅The Ullals de Baltasar are natural springs that make it a unique protected area.

✅There are currently 2 itinerary routes available: the Ullals Itinerary and the Bosc de Ribera Itinerary.

WHAT IS ELS ULLALS DE BALTASAR?
The combination of abundant vegetation and a landscaped area gives rise to a magnificent green landscape, very different from what we are used to seeing in the Ebro Delta.
The “Ullals” consist of underground fresh water springs, coming from the area of the Montsià mountain range and the Ports Natural Park. In the area, more than forty small ponds can be found as a result of these water springs. However, the most visible “ullals” are located at the entrance, in the middle of the vegetation.
This natural space simulates the beauty and tranquillity typical of a fairy tale.

THE BEST FLOR OF THE DELTA
On the Ullals de Baltasar route we find very abundant vegetation in the springs. This area is home to a large amount of flora and fauna, difficult to find in other ecosystems of the Ebro Delta.
Most of the trees in the surrounding area are eucalyptus and, in addition, water lilies can be found in the “ullals”.
