THE GARXAL LAGOON
Right at the mouth of the river Ebro, we can find one of the most unique natural areas of the Delta.
El Garxal is the newest natural area due to the age of its formation.
The Garxal Lagoon is a natural space formed by small islands; this space is located in a privileged place, next to the Riumar urbanization and just in front of the Buda Island.

Where can I park my car?
First we must find a good place to park our vehicle. There are 2 main areas where you can park your car:
HIKING ROUTE
Around La Laguna we can find an itinerary to go on foot.
During the route we can observe different ecosystems formed mainly by dunes and a flora and fauna of high value in this area.
FISHING ZONE
During the itinerary route we can observe a small old harbour with perch boats.This small port is a place of great cultural interest.
Next to the Garxal, in the same fluvial promenade; we can find an ideal place to be able to fish in a recreational way.
ZIGGURAT VIEWPOINT
One of the best viewpoints in the Delta and with the best views is the Zigurat viewpoint.
From here you can see fantastic views of the Garxal lagoon, magnificent views of the Isla de Buda and you can also see the mouth of the river Ebro.

BIRD OBSERVATORIES
In the Garxal Lagoon we can observe a large number of different types of birds.
On this route we can find 2 bird observatories; 1 of which is wheelchair accessible.
