Workshop Itinerary
Meeting Point: We will meet on the Riumar promenade at the indicated time to begin this unique experience.
Introduction to Shellfish Fishing: We will get to know one of the ways of life of the Ebro Delta: shellfish fishing. We will participate in the extraction techniques used by the fishermen’s ancestors, which are still used today.
Learning about Shellfish: We will learn about the different types of shellfish in the area, their reproduction and their importance in the Ebro Delta Natural Park. You will be surprised by the richness of this ecosystem!
Beach Walk: We will take advantage of the wonderful surroundings to take a walk along Riumar beach, reaching Isla Margarita, one of the richest areas of seafood at the mouth of the Ebro River.
Mussel Tasting: We will finish the experience with a tapa of fresh mussels from the Ebro Delta, accompanied by a beer, wine or soft drink, all in a restaurant on the beach. An unbeatable place!
Farewell: We will return to the meeting point and say goodbye after two hours of activity.
