Meeting: We will meet at the Ulldecona Tourist Office at the indicated time.
Walk to the Castle: After the presentations, we will go to the medieval castle, located on a small hill in the municipality.
Guided Tour:
Explore the different stages of fortification, from the Iberians to the Reconquista and the knightly orders.
We will tour the walled complex and see the remains of the 8th century Arab fortress, as well as the defensive towers.
You will see the square watchtower built by the Order of the Hospital, also known as the Order of Malta.
Historical Details:
You will learn about the Knights Hospitaller and see the ruins of the Christian church of Saint Mary of the Angels.
Farewell: We will end the tour an hour later at the entrance of the castle.
