Birdwatching in the Ebro Delta

We will meet at the indicated time at the reception of Camping Ampolla Playa de L’Ampolla, and from there we will start this tour in which we will learn about the fauna of the Ebro Delta Natural Park.

We will follow an environmental educator around Les Olles lagoon, the smallest in the Natural Park, but with a large population of water birds. During the tour, we will observe the different species of birds that coexist in this unique ecosystem. To do so, we will go to the viewpoints around the lagoon to see ducks, egrets, kingfishers and stilts, as well as the majestic flamingos.

We will also take the opportunity to learn about the vegetation of the region, as well as the rice fields surrounding the reserve. In addition, this bird watching experience in the lagoon of Les Olles and the bay of Fangar, in the heart of the Ebro Delta Natural Park, runs along the entire coastline. From L’Ampolla to the fishing port of Illa de Mar.

After a journey of approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, we will finish the tour by returning to the meeting point.
